Scaramucci Joining Celebrity Big Brother

Anthony "The Mooch" Scaramucci is officially set as one of the 12 contestants who will be competing when Season 2 of Big Brother: Celebrity Edition premieres on January 21.

Last year, former White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman appeared on the show's first season.

On the CBS show, she was asked by another houseguest if everything would be all right with Trump in the White House.

Scaramucci previously served as President Trump's White House communications director from July 21-July 31 2017, being fired after just 10 days when retired Marine Corps General John Kelly took over as the president's chief of staff. "The Mooch" was ousted after giving an aggressively vulgar interview to The New Yorker about fellow officials Reince Priebus and Steven Bannon. "I will refrain in this arena but not give up the passionate fight for Donald Trump's agenda".

Scaramucci has continued to be a consistent presence on cable news since then, coming on to talk about the President. Scaramucci recently joined the season two cast of "Celebrity Big Brother".

Other roommates will include Anthony Scaramucci, Joey Lawrence, Kato Kaelin, Tom Green, Jonathan Bennett, Lolo Jones, Natalie Eva Marie, Ricky Williams, and Tamar Braxton. Julie Chen, who has hosted the show since it was created in 2000, will return for season two, set to premiere on January 21 at 8 p.m. ET.

The 12 of them will be competing for the show's $250,000 prize, which will be awarded when the season finale airs on February 13.
