A New 'Toy Story 4′ Trailer Aired During the Super Bowl!

The new teaser for Toy Story shows Buzz Lightyear "held up" at a carnival, trying to find his way out to meet with Woody and the returning Bo Peep.

Toy Story 4 will arrive in theaters on June 21, 2019.

After this year's Super Bowl game, Disney and Pixar gave fans a new look at Toy Story 4, which will feature classic characters from the franchise as well as new additions to the eclectic cast of misfit toys.

Or, at least in Buzz's case, be involuntary participating in as a prize!

For those keeping track, TS4 isn't the first continuation of the story of the toys post-Andy's Trilogy (as it's been unofficially dubbed). The spot drives home the film's main tagline - "higher, further, faster" - which is repeated with increasing intensity throughout. It opened with Larson's character on an airfield preparing to climb aboard a fighter jet before a series of action-filled clips.

The trailer is brief and does not delve into the other characters. Additionally, the film marks Cooley's full-length directorial debut after co-writing the screenplay for "Inside Out", reported Variety.

Disney-Pixar wisely chose to release the film's latest trailer during last night's Super Bowl (3 February), which provoked smiles across the board simply by opening with the first two seconds of Randy Newman's You've Got a Friend in Me.

Obviously, it has certainly helped that the last three Toy Story movies have all been exceptional in their own rights.
