With the National Basketball Association trade deadline less than a week away, the Trail Blazers have reportedly made a move to bolster their wing rotation.

The Portland Trail Blazers agreed to a trade to acquire Cleveland Cavaliers forward Rodney Hood on Sunday, league sources told ESPN.

Two second-round draft picks for Hood is a solid return, and ESPN's Bobby Marks emphasized how Altman is really building a nice stockpile of future draft assets in the coming years through good trades this season, when it comes to dealing veterans such as Kyle Korver, George Hill, Sam Dekker and Hood.

Hood has been available and had to waive his no-trade clause, which he did.

USA wants to keep troops in Iraq to ‘watch Iran’
Trump said on Thursday he would bring USA troops home if a peace deal was reached to end 17 years of war in Afghanistan. The US troops' withdrawal from Syria was announced by Trump in December 2018.

The Portland Trail Blazers are the latest team to take a crack at the NBA's trade market.

Hood has been averaging 12.2 points, 2.5 rebounds and two assists per game with the Cavaliers and has plenty to offer a contending team like Portland.

It's unclear as to how Stauskas and Baldwin will fit into the Cleveland Cavaliers' rotation, but that's a minor issue, considering Cleveland isn't focused on winning games the rest of this season, realistically, anyway. His 42 percent from the field is a career best. The Michigan product was in his first season with the Blazers, having also played for the Sacramento Kings, Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets. Both players were also slated to be unrestricted free agents at the end of the season, so it was more than likely that neither would have been on the team at the start of the 2019-20 season regardless.

The 6-4, 200-pounder was the 17th overall pick of the 2016 draft out of Vanderbilt by the Memphis Grizzlies, who waived him October 16, 2017. They'll trade Alec Burks before Thursday's deadline, who's playing on an expiring contract. Even when Cousins is on the floor with the second unit, they could still use a secondary playmaker.
