Democratic Theory on Don Jr. Calls Proved Wrong

President Donald Trump has long denied that he knew about the Trump Tower gathering in 2016, which was attended by Trump Jr., his brother-in-law Jared Kushner and Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

Dispelling media and political rumors, the Senate Intelligence Committee revealed Thursday phone records proving that President Donald Trump was not one of the blocked numbers his son Donald Trump Jr. contacted days before the famous Trump Tower meeting. A source familiar with the records provided to Congress said they did not indicate if the blocked calls were incoming or outgoing. Trump Sr. appeared to confirm as much in a tweet on Thursday night.

At 4:04 p.m. that day, phone records show, Emin Agalarov, a wealthy Russian who helped arrange the meeting, called Trump Jr.

California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, also highlighted the blocked numbers in a Democratic report previous year on that panel's probe of the Trump Tower meeting.

This was disappointing news for many main stream media outlets and Democratic politicians, like new House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, R-Ca, who had hinted at it nearly anytime the subject came up in public.

Previously, some Congressional Democrats speculated that Don Jr. might have shared details of his meeting the lawyer with his father, then-presidential candidate, Donald Trump.

Shell profit soars to $23bn in 2018
Barclays reiterated an "overweight" rating on shares of Royal Dutch Shell in a research report on Monday, October 8th. Uhl insisted that Shell can achieve growth, complete its $25 billion buyback and distribute dividends at $60 oil.

The blocked calls were often theorized to be between Mr. Trump and son, which prompted Democrats to call for further investigation into the phone records. One of the mysteries which has kept many journalists awake at nights had to do with calls Donald Trump Jr. made to three blocked numbers, two before the meeting and one after.

Democratic members of the House Intelligence Committee pushed for information on the blocked numbers for more than a year. Trump Jr. has claimed the conversations with his father were protected by attorney-client privilege when he testified in December 2017.

Donald Trump Jr. spoke at a campaign rally for Sen. Had that been true, it could have provided evidence conflicting with the president's insistence that he had no foreknowledge of the meeting. If not, no problem.

In a July 8, 2017, statement to The New York Times, Trump Jr., said meeting participants "primarily discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children". "I'll do it if you're asking, '" Agalarov told Vice.

According to testimony from one of the Russians who sat in on the meeting, the Trump campaign officials became "very frustrated" and "instantly lost interest" when it became clear that the Russians did not have any incriminating information on Clinton.
