Star Trek: Discovery season 3 is officially happening, and the CBS All Access series is getting a new showrunner, to boot. The third season will continue the mission, with Michelle Paradise serving as co-showrunner with Alex Kurtzman.

The debut date for this third season has not been announced. It stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, and more.

She'll share top duties with Alex Kurtzman who also has his hands full expanding the Trek universe - a Picard series, Michelle Yeoh spin-off, and two animated series are just a few of his projects now in the works. "I'm proud to say Michelle and I are officially running Star Trek: Discovery together".

The series is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Alex Kurtzman's Secret Hideout, Bryan Fuller's Living Dead Guy Productions and Roddenberry Entertainment. She wrote for the series Rogue on the Audience network and The CW's Hart of Dixie. She previously worked on CW's The Originals and Logo's Exes & Ohs.

Why Kashmir remains an open wound between India, Pakistan
The dispute escalated in the past two weeks after a suicide bombing killed 41 Indian soldiers in Indian-administered Kashmir. Purported video of the airman - bloodied, blindfolded and with his hands tied behind his back - has been shared online.

The first six episodes of Discovery's second season are now available on CBS All Access with new episodes uploaded at 8:30 p.m.

Season two's additional cast includes Ethan Peck as the iconic half-human and half-Vulcan officer Spock, Rebecca Romijn as the original Number One and Anson Mount as Captain Christoper Pike. Together, they investigate seven red signals and appearances by an entity called the Red Angel, and the crew must work together to unravel this mystery. All new episodes will be available on demand weekly after 8:30 PM, ET on Thursdays exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers in the US, and are distributed concurrently by CBS Studios International on Netflix in 188 countries and in Canada on Bell Media's Space channel and OTT service Crave.
