Gmail's right-click menu just got a ton of new options

It has added new useful options to the right-click menu. These include replying, forwarding, searching for emails from the same sender or with the same subject, moving the email to a specific label, and opening the mail in a new window.

This option comes in handy since most of us typically open a message first and then hunt for the Reply All button.

Once the new version arrives, you'll see much more - reply, forward, label, move mute and snooze - all the things that are now controlled by buttons spread around the interface. In a blog post this week, the company has announced latest features added to the email service.

General strike shuts Belgian airspace, grounds flights
All flights in and out of Belgium have been canceled until Wednesday night as public transport workers went on a 24-hour strike. Above that altitude, a control center in the Dutch city of Maastricht was controling aircraft flying above Belgian territory.

Among the new features available, you will find the ability to reply (to a single user or to all those included in the message), forward the message or put it on hold (Gmail feature inherited from the deceased Inbox). You can archive it, delete it, mark it as read or snooze it.

Of course, you already have all those options, in Gmail's top menu (some are hidden behind the additional, three-dot menu, though) and you can also access them via keyboard shortcuts.

Users don't need to anything to take advantage of the new features. Basically, anything you could do from within an email can now be done outside of the email with a right-click. For users of Gmail and G Suite on a rapid release schedule, the rollout started on February 11 and will take a full 15 days to hit everyone.
