Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart share Guinness record for Marvel X-Men roles



A post on the official Guinness World Records Twitter account showed Jackman getting his certificate from Glenday, which was captioned: "Welcome to the family, @RealHughJackman".

"That's it. I've made it", Jackman responded.

Cape Town - Hugh Jackman has fulfilled his dream of becoming a Guinness World Record holder.

Jackman now officially holds the title of 'longest career as a live action Marvel superhero' for his role as Wolverine - that's 16 years and 228 days.

"When I was a kid, I wanted to be in the Guinness Book of Records, a Guinness Book of Records was it", Jackman shared. Fans continue to speculate about who will take over once Marvel Studios regains the X-Men movie rights.
