'James Bond 25' has pushed back it's release date again

As per the latest update, the film is now expected to be released on April 8, 2020.

James Bond will arrive two months later than planned as MGM moved back the release date on the untitled Bond 25 movie from February 14 to April 8, 2020 - a Wednesday before the start of Easter weekend.

Universal will be handling global distribution on Bond 25, while MGM handles domestic in partnership with Annapurna through the new United Artists Releasing label.

It's the second delay for Bond 25.

Apparently, this is not the first time when the forthcoming spy-thriller movie has been pushed back. It was initially to be directed by Danny Boyle, who exited the project abruptly this summer over creative differences. Now with the powerhouse franchise moving off of that date, James Bond chose to make himself at home there.

And while it might be the fix the Broncos want in 2019, quarterback still remains their biggest question mark beyond that. The move ends likely ends Keenum's time as the Broncos starting quarterback after a forgettable 2018 campaign.

EON Productions and Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios recently reached an agreement with Universal Pictures to partner on the worldwide release of the 25th James Bond film. But now the movie's official premiere date has been changed.

The decision to push back Bond 25 will give Fukunaga and Eon producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli additional time to finish what's certain to be a complex and costly production.

The yet-untitled Bond 25 film will mark Daniel Craig's fifth and possibly the last outing as the famed British spy. There have been several alleged reports that the studio is reportedly planning to cast a new younger actor to play the iconic role.

This will be the longest gap between Daniel Craig James Bond films, but a vote of confidence is what the series needs right now.

"Look, there's no point in making excuses about it, but it was two days after I'd finished shooting the last movie", he said.
