LaVar Ball will 'speak into existence' Lonzo being traded to Suns

LaVar Ball says he's ready to speak a Lonzo trade'into existence... just not to New Orleans

LaVar Ball says he's ready to speak a Lonzo trade'into existence... just not to New Orleans

If he does, we already know he doesn't want New Orleans to be his new home with Jrue Holiday still in town.

Lonzo Ball may be a part of trade talks for the Los Angeles Lakers, but any suggestions about him changing his social media profiles to reflect that are incorrect.

LaVar doesn't want Lonzo traded to New Orleans, though.

"We want to be in L.A.", said LaVar Ball.

The Lakers have been trying to land Davis for what feels like months.

LaVar is correct about Lonzo's fit in Phoenix. "And I am going to speak it into existence", LaVar said.

Ball, of course, took credit for "speaking into existence" the family's hometown Lakers drafting Lonzo in 2017.

Lakers have 'talked' about deal for Jabari Parker
The Lakers and Parker have been linked before. "Caldwell-Pope is available and has been floated out there for some spots". Perhaps the Lakers feel the former No. 2 overall pick still has potential and would do well in their organization.

Maybe Ball knows something we don't here, or maybe he's just exhausted of being used as trade bait.

In addition to having Booker as the franchise's star, Phoenix selected center Deandre Ayton with the top pick overall in last year's draft.

Along with the Lakers, the Los Angeles Clippers, New York Knicks and Milwaukee Bucks are other teams with which Davis would reportedly sign an extension when he becomes a free agent in July 2020. Lonzo even removed all mention of the team from both his Twitter and Instagram accounts on Monday. He's not involved in this trade one bit, nor should he be.

And, you'd think LaVar would simply be happy that his son is playing in the National Basketball Association at all, regardless of the team.

If a deal is going to be made, it's going to have to happen soon: The NBA trade deadline is 1 p.m. Arizona time Thursday.

It's certainly a bold strategy.
