LG is going to showcase not one but two flagships at MWC later this month.

In what seems like an attempt to best Samsung, LG will launch the V50 ThinQ in February alongside the G8 ThinQ.

LG did promise that it would unveil a 5G smartphone at Mobile World Congress, and the company has previously said it likes to test its new technology in its V-series handsets. The V50 ThinQ is already leaked with a 4,000mAh battery.

Bow Wow Arrested for Allegedly Beating Woman
WSB TV reported that the rapper was picked up by police after he reportedly assaulted a woman on 205 12th Street. Rapper Bow Wow was arrested early Saturday morning in Atlanta ahead of the Super Bowl , Fox News has learned.

Characters like Evan Blass (EvLeaks) or Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks) are notorious for offering snippets of information about upcoming devices many months prior to their release, so it's unusual nothing has surfaced about the LG V40 ThinQ's successor with only weeks before its suggested launch. And now, a new leak suggests that the company is working on the successor to the LG V40 ThinQ, the LG V50 ThinQ.

If the rumours are correct and the LG V50 ThinQ is announced alongside the LG G8 at the end of February, we'd expect it to sit slightly above the LG G8 in terms of specs. As of now, there is no information on the additional specifications of the LG V50 ThinQ. Meanwhile, the back of the device features a horizontally-arranged dual rear camera setup. LG V50 ThinQ is most likely to launch on the date mentioned above. Rumors suggest that the LG V series will take over as the flagship smartphone lineup of the company, and the branding of the tech firm's first 5G smartphone supports this notion.

Impact: While the LG G8 ThinQ includes a smaller battery than the V50 ThinQ 5G, the device only features LTE connectivity, which means that the handset will have lower power requirements than the 5G handset.
