After her surprise appearance, Michelle received the amusing text from her mom.

Obama, 55, made a surprise appearance on the Grammys stage Sunday and gave her mother a heads up to tune in - or so she thought.

You may be the First Lady of The United States of America, but she'll still see you as the toddler whose butt she cleaned! She is one of the most genuine and thoughtful people I know-there's no one better to help us all celebrate the unifying power of music! But, who can't relate?

Michelle posted a slideshow to Instagram to share their hilarious back and forth, which ended with her gently reminding her mom: "I am a real star.by the way". After Michelle told her mom that her post-Grammys text was "so typically you", she asked her whether she'd tuned in for the viral moment.

Who else could deny Michelle Obama her right to stardom?

"And I am a real star ... by the way ..."

Ravens Joe Flacco Traded to Broncos
But alas, the Broncos have made a trade which can't be official until March 13th, when the new league year begins for the NFL. The trade is rumored to be Flacco in exchange for a "mid-round pick" - details of which will be revealed in the near future.

Despite the friendly banter between Obama and her mother, the two actually have a very close relationship, as Robinson revealed in her first every televised interview previous year.

Obama laughed - in emoji form - at her mom's joke.

It's impressive that even though he hasn't lived in the White House for a while now, the former FLOTUS can still get that reaction from a crowd. 'I was anxious about my grandkids'.

Fans loved the mother and daughter exchange. Her daughter asked mom if she had watched. When I wasn't home at the end of the day, grandma was there.

'Well, Mom would ride in the vehicle with her to make it feel like a regular carpool'.
