MoDOT: Winter storm expected to impact evening rush hour

The weather system is expected to move out of the area by 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Snow will arrive Wednesday night then may switch to ice pellets then freezing rain Thursday.

The Wednesday morning commute to work could get dicey.

"When all is said and done, most of north central WI will see 3-5" of accumulation. "Snowfall totals will range from 1" to 2", before a sleet/glaze changeover before sunrise.
