Spyro Reignited Trilogy could be getting a Nintendo Switch release this summer

A listing via Gamestop Germany seemingly confirms that the Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be launching for the Nintendo Switch sometime later this year.

The retailer claims the little purple fella's revamped PlayStation trilogy will be hitting Ninty's console on August 16, so it's still some way off. Although information on the Switch version of the game has leaked in the past, we haven't heard about it since lasts July. The Amazon leak was soon followed by a leak on from the official Nintendo UK Store who also listed the Trilogy under the title "Spyro The Dragon Remastered".

The elusive Nintendo Switch version of Spyro Reignited Trilogy initially came to light ahead of its release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, before being delisted and brushed under the rug. So things are looking up for Spyro's Switch fans.

This isn't the first time that the game has been rumoured for a Switch release.

The Reignited Trilogy seems to be following the same release date path as the Crash Bandicoot N' Sane Trilogy.

A new Nintendo Direct is rumored for February 13, and the announcement of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy for Switch may come this week. When do you see the games coming to the hybrid console?
