UNPRECEDENTED: Trump Admin to Launch Worldwide Campaign to End 'Criminalization of Homosexuality'

The effort, which is to be led by Richard Grenell, President Donald Trump's Ambassador to Germany and the only openly gay man of any note in the administration, is a genuinely positive step.

Out Magazine, a gay and lesbian culture publication, is accusing the Trump administration of racism over its efforts to decriminalize homosexuality internationally. The U.S. embassy in Berlin is flying in LGBT activists from across Europe to strategize ways to tackle the issue, with a heavy concentration on Middle Eastern, African and Caribbean nations. Although the new project is still in its planning stages, officials told the news organization that the administration will likely be working alongside global organizations - including the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the European Union - to achieve its goal.

While in the Oval Office with Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, reporters followed up with Trump on a few of his policies.

Mr President, on your push to decriminalize homosexuality, are you doing that?

"I don't know which report you're talking about", Trump said. "We have many reports", the President responded.

She also recently turned down Anurag Kashyap's Gulaab Jamun where she was supposed to star with husband Abhishek Bachchan. Manish Malhotra too posted this picture on his Instagram page and wrote, "Beauty in red, the one and only".

The organizational attempt is being questioned as a possible end-around to get other countries involved in the United States' efforts to go after Iran, where a gay man was reportedly recently hanged.

So it is fitting that Trump does not appear to be in touch with his administration's single move to stand with LGBTQ rights.

In a Wednesday article titled, "Trump's Plan to Decriminalize Homosexuality Is an Old Racist Tactic", Out's Mathew Rodriguez writes that there's no reason to "cheer" the Trump administration over the reports.

The Washington Blade published a report lamenting that the US-based groups OutRight Action International, Human Rights Campaign and Council for Global Equality weren't invited to the planning meeting, with HRC's Jeremy Kadden declaring that Trump and Pence "have consistently worked to undermine the fundamental equality of LGBTQ people and our families here at home from day one".
