Donald Trump Jr. joined Twitter users in support of Chelsea Clinton on March 16, when he came to her defense after an NYU student blamed her for the mosque terrorist attacks in NZ, during a vigil for the tragedy.

Still, the student persisted in dressing down Clinton, claiming the shootings were "stoked by people like you". The students appear to have been angry that she, herself the wife of a Jewish man, had admonished antisemitism following remarks made by Muslim Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who some believed were antisemitic in nature. "Certainly it was never my intention". I do believe that words matter.

However, a student at the event told Clinton "her rhetoric" had in fact contributed to help the attacks in New Zealand.

Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter Saturday to defend Clinton, saying the incident was sickening, and everyone should be condemning anti-Semitism and all forms of hate. "Anyone who doesn't understand this is part of the problem", the president's eldest son added.

How to Watch Roger Federer vs. Rafael Nadal
Nadal and Federer have faced each other 38 times across their career with the Spaniard leading the head-to-head 23-15. He didn't play again until the Australian Open , where he fell in the championship match to Novak Djokovic .

Omar's comments ignited a firestorm of debate over whether she was raising legitimate critiques of US foreign policy or engaging in anti-Semitism.

Some of the NYU students told Clinton she wasn't welcome at the vigil. "I want you to know that". Omar has recently suggested American Jews have "dual loyalty" and criticized pro-Israel lobby AIPAC as being "All about the Benjamins".

Other Republicans used the confrontation to compare it to how US President Donald Trump's rhetoric has been blamed for stoking violence and allowing a rise to white supremacism.

Maajid continued: "I found it incredibly disturbing the way they treated Chelsea Clinton and when the far-left start treating those in their own political camp with hostility just because they don't use the precise language they want them to use, then what's the difference between them and the far-right?" Conservative pundit Candace Owens said blaming others for such a tragedy was "nonsense". "Please stop the nonsense", her response read. "Period", Huckabee said, mentioning the 2017 congressional baseball shooting suspect who was a Sanders supporter.
