Halo: The Master Chief Collection is officially coming to PC

Microsoft said it also plans to sell each game individually, as well as in the Master Chief Collection bundle. They'll be releasing the collection one game at a time, so hopefully we'll be caught up by the time Infinite reaches PC shores.

Rather than make every game in the collection available all at once on PC, Microsoft said the collection will roll out one game at a time, starting with Halo: Reach and going in chronological order from there.

Who knows what that might end up meaning, but it suggests Microsoft's committed to sustaining the game's multiplayer scene and growing the PC community. However, you can keep an eye on Halo Waypoint (and GameRevolution) for further news on Halo MCC.

Still, Halo on PC! Pricing was also left out of the details, but everything will be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers, and that includes Halo Reach. I sincerely hope Microsoft keeps up their efforts for game preservation: while folks joke that they don't have enough new games releasing on a consistent basis, I like that they're doing something different and backing backward compatibility so hard.

Halo Reach is also coming to Xbox One. After that, fans can expect to see Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, and Halo 4 released.

Dark Knight Trilogy Screenings In IMAX 70mm on the Way
Playing in five cities, the special screening will feature all three Dark Knight films, displayed back-to-back in 70mm IMAX. The trilogy will screen on April 13 at AMC Lincoln Square in New York City and AMC Metreon in San Francisco.

The MCC is coming to PC, but where will you be able to actually enjoy it?

Microsoft and 343 have yet to reveal when The Master Chief Collection will land on PC or when Reach will be added, but they promised that more information will be divulged down the road. It will be available via the Microsoft Store and Steam.

After more than a decade, the mainline Halo games are returning to PC. While the MCC used to have some issues, 343 have been patching it consistently since launch, and it sounds like the PC will have some extra icing on the cake.
