Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson in public display of affection

Pete Davidson and Kate Beckinsale have taken their new romance to New York City.

The English actress and the American comedian, who is most well-know for his appearance on Saturday Night Live as well as his brief relationship with singer Ariana Grande, put on a cosy display when they attended an ice hockey game yesterday in NY. Beckinsale was celebrating her DuJour magazine cover when she was asked what her ideal man would be like.

The duo were first spotted together at a Golden Globes after-party last month, and they were subsequently seen holding hands after one of Pete's comedy shows in Los Angeles.

Then, the pair was spotted holding hands on February 1 as they left famed music and comedy venue Largo at the Coronet in West Hollywood, California, following Davidson's stand-up show.

Of course, Davidson wouldn't be the first comedian Beckinsale has been linked to. The comedian and singer had become engaged in June after a month of dating.

Chiefs To Franchise Dee Ford, Listen To Trade Offers
Ford will be shopped on the trade market after receiving the tag, according to ESPN. Ford's franchise tag will be worth approximately $15.8 million.

Beckinsale has dated other comedians on and off, but nothing serious, since her divorce from Len Wiseman in 2016.

Though they left the venue hand-in-hand and headed back to Davidson's Santa Monica hotel together, a source close to Beckinsale previously told PEOPLE that her relationship with Davidson is not likely to go any further.

In an exchange captured by Comments by Celebs, Beckinsale responded, "No that's my mother".

Davidson split from singer Ariana Grande in October, and though the comedian has admitted to having a hard time in the months since, a source told PEOPLE late a year ago that he was embracing his bachelorhood.

They said: "Kate's very into Pete and is really enjoying the time she's spending with him".
