Lakers forward Brandon Ingram likely to miss rest of season

The Los Angeles Lakers announced Brandon Ingram is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to a Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT) in his arm. The testing revealed a "Deep Venous Thrombosis" in his arm, the team said.

Ingram had missed the past two games with a sore right shoulder for the struggling Lakers, who have dropped four straight and eight of their past 10.

He has averaged 18.3 points, 3.0 assists and 5.1 rebounds in 52 games this season.

Tottenham's new stadium will finally host game in April
A statement released on the clubs website said "We have held discussions with the Premier League and UEFA". Spurs were scheduled to move to the new White Hart Lane stadium in September but construction has been delayed.

Cowherd saw Ingram's injury as a way for the Lakers to tank in a Twitter post that has now been deleted.

The lanky swingman's chemistry with LeBron James has improved markedly over the course of the season despite several weeks of trade rumors linking Ingram and the rest of the Lakers' top young players to a deal for New Orleans superstar Anthony Davis. Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes is reporting that Ball, who has been sidelined since January 19 with an ankle injury, will be reevaluated later Saturday.

Although the Lakers' playoff hopes have fallen by the wayside, the latest injury for Ingram comes at a particularly inopportune time on a personal level as he was averaging 27.8 points in six games since the All-Star break. He is also likely to sit out some back-to-backs. Amusing thing is, both Ball and Ingram could be traded in the offseason for all they know, so in an ironic twist of fate: both these Lakers' pieces may have played their last games with the purple and gold, think about it.
