The Philadelphia Eagles acquired DeSean Jackson from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday, league sources tell ESPN, reuniting the deep-threat receiver with the team that drafted him in 2008.

DeSean Jackson says good-bye to Tampa Bay.

Jackson was slated to make $10 million in 2019 on the final year of his three-year, $33.5 million deal with the Bucs.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo confirms that the Bucs are shopping Jackson and a return to Philly is not out of the question. Jackson averaged a career-low 13.4 yards per catch in 2017, when Winston started 13 games.

In 12 games last season for the Bucs, Jackson had 41 catches for 774 yards and four touchdowns.

Jackson left the Eagles for the Washington Redskins when he was cut by Chip Kelly in 2014.

The team was reportedly seeking a potential trade partner for Jackson, whose preferred destination was his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles. His playing time was reduced in the second half of last season, but he's still an effective interior pass-rusher.

Wulf: We'll find out more about the specific breakdown of the contract, but the guess here is that it's structured more like a one- or two-year deal with easy outs for the Eagles. The Eagles also are expected to add a running back and a linebacker to help alleviate the expected departures of Jay Ajayi and Jordan Hicks, respectively.
