Pete Davidson Addresses Big Age Difference With Kate Beckinsale on'SNL

Pete Davidson took to Saturday Night Live over the weekend to lob some barbs at critics of his blossoming relationship with actress Kate Beckinsale.

Pete Davidson isn't "bothered" about the age difference between himself and Kate Beckinsale.

Kate, 45, was first linked to comedian Pete after apparently flirting with him at a Golden Globes party in January, and the couple was then spotted leaving a stand-up gig holding hands in NY last month (Feb19). "I don't really see the difference - only one's music is significantly better", Davidson said, which received boos and laughs from the audience. Davidson was initially reluctant but soon opened up about Beckinsale.

The pair were first linked in January but appeared to confirm their romance publicly a week ago when they were photographed kissing at an ice hockey game.

The duo has been spotted holding hands in public twice in the following week.

Next flu pandemic 'a matter of when, not if,' says WHO
Better tools to prevent, detect, control and treat both pandemic and seasonal influenza are urgently needed, said the WHO.

Mocking Catholics over the church's string of sexual abuse cases, Davidson referred to the scandal involving the singer who has been accused of sexual abuse involving minors, with allegations detailed in the recent documentary Surviving R. Kelly.

Davidson's segment came after "Weekend Update" host Michael Che elicited gasps with his own Michael Jackson joke: "They said HBO's doc did more damage to Michael Jackson than his last Doc, Dr. [Conrad Robert] Murray", he said.

Kate - who has 20-year-old daughter Lily with former partner Michael Sheen - recently admitted she likes the idea of having another child in the future.

Speaking to that matter, Davidson pointed out plenty of couples who have a major age difference. When one fan commented on one of her Instagram posts: "Disappointed in your dating choices", she fired off this response: "Fairly let down by your wonky beard but thought rude to say".

Pete Davidson wants you to stop minding the gap, thanks.
