Petition filed in Pakistan seeking Priyanka’s removal as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador

An online petition has been filed urging UNICEF to remove Priyanka Chopra as a goodwill ambassador following her tweet lauding the Indian armed forces.

Several had also commented on her tweet asking for her removal as UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

Netizens have declared war on Indian superstar Priyanka Chopra. As reported by The News International, the petition is signed against the actress as she congratulated the Indian Armed Force for the surgical strike that was conducted on Pakistan by India on February 26, 2019.

Dan Carter's Racing return off
The Racing 92 players gave Lambie a fitting tribute in their changeroom following their 50-14 thrashing of La Rochelle over the weekend.

After February 14 attacks, India launched several air attacks to destroy the terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad's (JeM) training camps in Pakistan. Considering her role as the ambassador of child rights and education for girls, Chopra needs to learn a lesson on how devastating the impact of war can be, especially for children. Now, if reports are to be believed, an online petition has been started by people in Pakistan tagging the United Nations and UNICEF for removal of Priyanka as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

Priyanka posted a tweet saying "Jai Hind #IndianArmedForces" on the same day Indian fighter jets intruded Pakistan's airspace. "She doesn't deserve this title anymore", the petition reads on website Avaaz.org.
