Pokemon "Sword" & "Shield" Announced With Reveal Trailer

They will not be alone, since the newly discovered Pokemon they choose to be their first partner will be by their side.

Japan's Nintendo Co Ltd said on Wednesday that it will release two Pokemon role-playing titles for its Switch console, "Pokemon Sword" and "Pokemon Shield", worldwide in late 2019.

All we know about the next core Pokemon game so far is that it's coming in the second half of 2019, so we're more than due some more news. Pokemon Day happens every year on February 27. It's a beloved franchise about trainers pitting sentient creatures against one another in complicated games of glorified dog-fighting, and it's basically more popular than God. After years of playing through Pokemon games that required me to collect eight badges from various gyms before challenging the Elite Four and becoming the Pokemon Champion, I really enjoyed playing through those Island Challenges. Game Freak will continue to make enjoyable games that are fun for everyone. The new games will take fans to the Galar region, which seems to be based on Industrial Revolution style England and will be released for the Nintendo Switch.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu 'to be charged over corruption'
The charges include bribery, fraud and breach of trust, and the PM will be given the chance to appeal before they are filed. Israel's attorney general says he has chose to indict Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on a series of corruption charges.

The game will be set in the Galar region, which is described as an "expansive region with many environments".

We do not yet know what these Pokemon will be evolving into. Now, 807 Pocket Monsters later, the series has officially announced the next chapter: Pokemon Sword & Pokemon Shield.
