Realme 3 launch highlights Price starts from Rs. 8,999

The launch will be broadcasted live on Realme's official YouTube channel.

The battery on the Realme 3 has impressive 4,230 mAh capacity, but doesn't support any fast charging - the included 5V/2A (10W) charger is as fast as it can go.

It's 2019, and the company had launched its successor to the Realme 2 and had added another new mid-range smartphone to its products-portfolio - the Realme 3 smartphone. Realme says that the 3GB RAM variant price tag is part of an introductory offer for the first 1 million buyers.

Here's how to enable Dark Mode for Facebook Messenger
Note: If you don't see Dark Mode , quit Messenger, removing it from the background entirely and relaunching it again. While those spots clearly exist (or so says the warning), you probably won't encounter too many of them.

Realme 3 has a couple of software features on the camera that are noteworthy. The smartphone will be going on sale via Flipkart and Realme's online store starting from March 12 at 12:00PM. As stated earlier, the Realme 3 is available in three color variants - Dynamic Black, Gradient Blue, and Black. The smartphone is also splash and dust-proof.

In terms of camera, there's a 13MP (f/1.8 aperture) + 2MP dual rear shooters as well as PDAF. The memory options available are 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB and storage is expandable via microSD card up to 256GB.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Realme 3 flaunts a 6.3-inch HD+ (1520×720 pixels) display with dewdrop notch, 19:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It swaps out the MediaTek Helio P70 for a P60 but retains the rest of the specs and features. The company had later became independent and had released three new budget to mid-range smartphones - the Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, Realme C1 and the Realme U1, which were also priced aggressively. It comes with a f/2.0 aperture, HDF support, and AI beautification. The relatively new startup from Oppo had already teased a number of marquee features of the handset, but this smartphone is not likely to compete with Xiaomi's latest Redmi phones. The phone features a fingerprint sensor at the back. On a positive note, the handset runs ColorOS 6 based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
