Ronaldo suffered a left ankle injury.

Juve also top the division by an incredible 13 points after 25 games played - and are yet to lose a single league game all season.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a doubt for Juventus' Serie A clash at Napoli on Sunday after picking up an ankle injury during the weekend's 1-0 win at Bologna, the club announced on Wednesday.

Juve confirmed via their official website that "check-ups have been scheduled for today and tomorrow [Thursday] following a knock to his left ankle during the game against Bologna".

In response to the jeers he was receiving, the 34-year-old held up five fingers to his chest, which is believed to be in reference to him having won the competition on five occasions.

I could have ended Kepa's season, says Sarri
That was very important for our confidence. "I think that a minimum of consistency has arrived, but we have to continue". Maurizio Sarri again fielded questions about his future at Chelsea following the team's 2-1 win over Fulham on Sunday.

Though the Scudetto looks nearly assured with Juve having opened up a 13-point lead at the top of the Serie A table, Sunday's match with second-placed Napoli remains a tough test.

Following the game at Naples, they will face Udinese before the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 against Atletico Madrid at Allianz Stadium.

There is certainly no shortage of options for the Old Lady as they have Mario Mandzukic, Paulo Dybala, Juan Cuadrado, and Douglas Costa in the forward line.

"Juventus will come here to finish the Scudetto, by exploiting their characteristics: a solid defense, counterattack, competitive spirit, and the speed of Cristiano Ronaldo, who is very motivated and focused about what he has to do".
