‘The Craft’ Remake Finds Director in Zoe-Lister Jones

Zoe Lister-Jones is writing and directing the upcoming reboot of The Craft!

Doug Wick, the producer of the original "The Craft", will return in the same capacity along with partner Lucy Fisher through their Red Wagon banner. Both Blumhouse and Columbia are co-financing the latest version of the pic.

The Craft starred Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell, Rachel True and Skeet Ulrich, and its soundtrack featured bangers from Letters to Cleo, Love Spit Love and Spacehog, so go find that on Spotify or wherever you insane kids stream music these days. The trio had been dabbling in witchcraft, and Tunney's arrival enables all four to become adept at magic, but the new coven disintegrates when Balk's character misuses her new power. Original Craft director Andrew Fleming will executive produce with Red Wagon's Lucas Wiesendanger.

Devin Booker scores season-high 59 in Suns’ loss to Jazz
That, on top of a 19-of-34 shooting performance from the line, allowed Booker to get his 59 efficiently. The 22-year-old guard was hot and went 19/34 from the field and 16/17 on free throws for 59 points.

Though mostly known for her work on the small screen in shows including the short-lived NBC sitcom Whitney and the surprise hit CBS sitcom Life in Pieces, which has been on the air for five years and will debut its fourth season April 18, she is also known for having written, executive produced and starred in the 2012 romantic comedy Lola Versus and the well-received indie dramedy Band Aid, on which she wrote, produced, directed and starred. On the television side, Lister-Jones' comedy pilot Woman Up was recently greenlit at ABC, and she now stars opposite Colin Hanks in Life in Pieces, which is set to return for its fourth season on CBS. She can now be seen as a regular on CBS' Life in Pieces with Colin Hanks.

Lister-Jones, like numerous names people floated Blum's way after his initial inciting comments, is already well-established in the industry - having made a name as a writer, a writer-director, and an actress. Red Wagon's teen girl cinematic canon includes Divergent, The Great Gatsby, and female drive pics like Memoirs of a Geisha, Girl Interrupted and Working Girl. Wick won a Best Picture Oscar in 2001 for Gladiator, the sequel of which is at present in development at Paramount with Ridley Scott directing.
