What signing WR Adam Humphries means for the Titans — NFL free agency
When free agency kicked off on Monday, the Titans made the move to acquire former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver, Adam Humphries.
According to multiple reports, wide receiver Adam Humphries has signed with the Titans for four years and $36 million, and ESPN's Dianna Russini adds the Patriots had been bidding against the Titans "all day".
Humphries worked his way on to an National Football League roster by signing as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2015.
Gully Boy will have a sequel, confirms Zoya Akhtar
In a recent interview, director Zoya Akhtar confirmed the same and mentioned that the film's second part is being scripted. The filmmaker recently also announced that she would be more than happy to make a sequel to her recent hit Gully Boy .
The 25-year-old was one of the best slot receivers available on the free-agent market, along with Jamison Crowder (who reportedly agreed to sign with the New York Jets) and Danny Amendola (who reportedly agreed to sign with the Detroit Lions). Josh Gordon is suspended indefinitely, and veterans Chris Hogan, Cordarrelle Patterson and Phillip Dorsett all are free agents. As of Monday evening, New England had not reached an agreement with any impending free agent.
The Patriots have a glaring need at receiver with only Julian Edelman, Braxton Berrios, Damoun Patterson and special teamer Matthew Slater now under contract for the 2019 season.
Despite that need, New England must have deemed Humphries' price rage too steep.
