He's tallied at least one hit and one RBI in each of the Red Sox's four games against the Mariners. Eight Seattle batters have hit 13 combined home runs, with nine coming against the defending World Series champions.

Boston's left fielder took Seattle Mariners starter Wade LeBlanc deep to left field for a 3-run homer in the fourth inning of Sunday afternoon's game at T-Mobile Park.

For the first time in team history, Boston's starters gave up six runs or more in each of the first three games. Rodriguez allowed six runs (five earned) on eight hits while walking three and throwing 105 pitches, 61 for strikes.
