Chris Davis is living a baseball nightmare that somehow can get worse

Aaron Judge was 0-for-5 with four strikeouts during the Yankees’ 8-4 win in Baltimore on Thursday

It was actually an improvement on his 2018 production against the Pinstripers, as he went 0-2 with a 9.00 ERA with six walks, 10 strikeouts and a.289 opponent batting average in his two starts vs. NYY.

Davis, 33, signed a seven-year, $161 million deal with Baltimore back in July of 2016.

After a historically bad 2018 season, in which Davis posted career lows in batting average (.168) and strikeout rate (37 percent), the Orioles' one-time prodigious slugger got booed by Orioles fans in Thursday's home-opening loss to the Yankees. He was booed some after his first strikeout, more after his second and resoundingly after the third.

"It's not something I was really expecting", Davis said of the booing, according to Dan Connolly of The Athletic.

However, in an interview with Baltimore's ABC affiliate, Davis insisted his problems are not too bad. At the same time, I heard it a lot previous year, and rightfully so.

Microsoft's new 50-person group video chat feature for Skype exits beta
If you feel some family members or co-workers are likely to miss the notification, then you can choose individual members to ring. However, Skype will still let a call organizer ring everyone if there's fewer than 25 people in the group.

'I've said it before, I'll say it again: I understand the frustration. Especially a day like today, the kind of game we were having, really kind of had them on their heels the whole game.

Against the spread: The Orioles (+1.5, -105) aren't worth a roll of the dice, as I think they're going to get crushed. Baltimore averaged 8.1 hits with 2.7 extra base hits per game and 242 total doubles previous year.

A year ago, Davis finished with the lowest qualifying single-season batting average in the modern era:.168. The starting pitchers should do better this time around, but the game should still see a high number of runs and go over 8.5.

Davis had just 16 home runs in 2018. Since then, the Orioles traded talented infielder Manny Machado to the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2018 to avoid paying another nine-figure salary.

It's a far fall from grace for the former all-star who led the major leagues in home runs in 2015 during a campaign that saw him hit.262 with 47 dingers and 117 RBI.
