Andrea Norton 20 was a member of the Briar Cliff University women's volleyball team who expressed their condolences on her death

Her body was recovered after almost five hours with more than 60 responders helping.

Norton's death was reportedly the second fall in 2019, but Wheeler said building a fence around the crag wasn't practical.

Andrea Norton, a Briar Cliff University student, fell to her death from a Arkansas hiking trail on Saturday.

Some outlets have said Norton was trying to take a photo when she fell from the popular hiking destination, CBS News noted, but Norton's mother, Tamara Norton - who did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment - has denied the claims, saying that a previous ankle injury may have caused Norton's fall.

Wheeler says the crag, located within the Ozark-St. Andrea, a junior, was majoring in biology and environmental science and recently had her petition to minor in global studies approved.

"She never lost her rambunctious approach to achieving her goals".

Anyway, a little bit of digging on the Microsoft store page revealed a few new tasty nuggets of hyperbole-laden information. It was attractive , it was raw and it had a weight to it that no other film in the series has been able to capture so far.

Norton attended Briar Cliff under scholarship for symphony choir and women's volleyball, her obituary says.

"Andrea was a passionate environmental science major, exemplary student, and dedicated athlete...."

"We are saddened by the unexpected passing of our beloved teammate Andrea Norton", the school said on social media.

"Briar Cliff Women's Volleyball team posted a tribute to Norton, writing, "#22 on the court, #1 in our hearts".

Sheriff Wheeler said Norton's death was a reminder of how unsafe these popular spots like Hawksbill Crag can be.

Speaking to how unsafe the area is known to be, Wheeler told ABC news, "One stumble or misstep is all it can take to turn a great day into a tragic one". The school is working out arrangements with Norton's family for a memorial service in the near future, a BCU spokeswoman said Sunday afternoon. "I want everyone to enjoy our county, but use extreme caution and respect how risky these places can be".
