Game of Thrones screencap breakdown: "Episode 802" Trailer

The premiere of the eighth and final season of HBO's fantasy epic drew an overnight audience of 3.388 million on Monday for Sky, split between the 2 a.m. live simulcast with HBO's 9 p.m. ET showing, and a 9 p.m. repeat Monday night. The first episode has got everyone reacting on social media, the critics have all had their say, and anyone that doesn't watch Game of Thrones has accepted they have no place in any conversations anymore.

Other Game of Thrones actors also said filming the final season was tough. According to analytics company Muso, a majority of the 55 million pirated views (76.6 percent) came from illegal streaming sites, while illegal downloads accounted for 12.2 percent, and around 11.3 percent were torrents. Straight after the first episode aired, Torrent Freak reported that over 120,000 BitTorrent users were actively sharing copies of it.

Swiss scientists say men's beards carry more germs than dog fur
A spokesman for the "Beard Liberation Front" says the results are more about an irrational fear of beards than anything else. All of the beard samples showed high microbial counts while only about two-thirds of the dog fur samples had high counts.

In a recent Esquire interview, Harington discussed the difficulties of meeting audiences' expectations and all the hard work that went into filming Game of Thrones Season 8. In India, Game of Thrones can be streamed on Hotstar which charges Rs. 999 for a full year subscription. China was next with 5 million views (they air a censored version over there) and interesting in the U.S. was next with 4 million. Game of Thrones re-uses a lot of extras, but few have gained the attention like this soldier, who has kept on appearing at a number of battle sequences.

The interesting thing is how different locations pirated the TV episode.
