Following the March 31 shooting of California rapper Ermias "Nipsey Hussle" Asghedom, the Los Angeles Police Department began an investigation to find out who was involved in the fatal incident.

Several people in the crowd became rowdy as police attempted to clear the area, throwing candles and other items at officers, Aguilar said, adding that at least one officer was hurt and at least one person was detained. It will be held hours after a disturbance at a memorial for Hussle Monday night left at least 19 people injured, including two people taken to local hospitals in critical condition.

The video shows the Grammy-nominated rapper standing with three men behind a row of parked cars in the lot of the Hyde Park shopping center before the shots ring out on Sunday afternoon.

He remained at large and is wanted for homicide, the release said.

Authorities said they are still searching for Holder, a 29-year-old Los Angeles resident who was last seen fleeing the scene of the shooting on Sunday in a 2016 white Chevy Cruze driven by an unidentified female. The others suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the fire department said. "The majority of injuries were related to "trample injuries" sustained when the crowd rushed out", fire officials said in a statement. One person was hit by a auto, the department said.

After he was released in the middle of the season, Anderson spent a few minutes with the Raiders before moving on to the Rams. According to a report by Mike Garafolo at NFL Network, the former Carolina Panthers running back has signed with Detroit.

"It's been a tough few days for Los Angeles", Garcetti said.

Nipsey, 33, was shot six times and died of gunshot wounds to the head and torso, according to the medical examiner. "Violent retaliation for this event will not be tolerated", he said.

Los Angeles police Chief Michel Moore has called on the suspect in the killing of rapper Nipsey Hussle to surrender. "For healing to occur, even from this awful incident, justice must be sought through legal means, and community peace must be found". Here, the rapper is seen in the photo performing onstage at the Warner Music Pre-Grammy Party at the NoMad Hotel in Los Angeles, Feb. 7, 2019. Though Nipsey released several mixtapes independently or through his All Money In record label, his studio debut, "Victory Lap", dropped previous year and was nominated for a Grammy.

The rapper was scheduled to meet with LAPD Commissioner Steve Soboroff and Police Chief Michael Moore to "talk about ways he could help stop gang violence and help us help kids".
