Mane and Zidane

In a report by Spanish publication Marca, they confirm Los Blancos' desire for someone who will grab a match by the scruff of the neck, and possesses lightening quick pace - both of which are apparently key areas Zidane has earmarked for improvement.

Zidane reportedly wants Asensio out of the club this summer, but the club are yet to receive an offer for the Spain worldwide which they have taken seriously.

Liverpool's Sadio Mane is one of them, as the Senegalese forward has been in top form for his club throughout the ongoing season.

In the 38 games of the current season, Mane became the author of 20 goals and 4 assists. 11 of these goals came from his last 11 appearances alone.

The Senegal global has been in sterling form this term scoring 20 goals in all competitions to help Jurgen Klopp's men continue thriving in the Champions League and the Premier League. The Senegal midfielder was full of praise for his former Southampton and national teammate, while speaking about him to Marca. Madrid is a bit weak in attack and he's a type of player who does a lot of damage with space.

His attorneys maintain the same narrative, reminding skeptics that the attackers were disguised when they pulled off the attack. Prosecutors said during the hearing that they'd notify media outlets if Smollett's lawyers try to expunge his record.

The 26-year-old also helped Liverpool to reach the last eight of the UEFA Champions League where they will tackle Porto in April.

Mane has 17 Premier League goals this term, as well as three in the Champions League.

"He brings variation in attack, but he's not a prolific goalscorer like Cristiano Ronaldo, who goes well above [what a forward brings to the team]".

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is interested in Mane's services. But it has been understood that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is totally against selling any of his main players including Mane himself. He moved to Liverpool in 2016 from Southampton for 41 million euros.
