NY police: Magician Blaine subject of sexual assault investigation

According to a new report by The Daily Beast, world famous magician David Blaine is now under investigation by the New York Police Department for allegations of sexual assault against "at least two women". Monday morning that a senior official at the NYPD who had been briefed on the ongoing investigation said the department's Special Victims Unit has taken statements from two female accusers.

The other woman contacted cops about a week ago and claimed she was sexually assaulted by Blaine in his apartment in 1998, sources said.

But when asked if have investigators had tried to interview Blaine or if he'd been informed about the probe, NYPD Commissioner James O'Neill said, "I'm not going to make any comment on that".

In a separate statement about the New York City case on Monday, the NYPD said it "takes sexual assault and rape cases extremely seriously, and urges anyone who has been a victim to file a report so we can perform a comprehensive investigation, and offer support and services to survivors".

"Officers from the Met's Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command are investigating an allegation of rape", Scotland Yard told the outlet in a statement.

There, she believes Blaine hypnotized her and made her masturbate him while she was in a hypnotic state, sources said.

National Enquirer: Bezos' girlfriend's brother 'single source' for reports
Furthermore, it found that numerous hacking techniques used to bring down Khasoggi were in use in exposing the Bezos member. Bezos accused the tabloid of trying to blackmail him prior to publishing the article, a claim which the company denies.

A few sexual assault offenses in NY carry no time limit for criminal prosecution, like rape in the first degree, but some, like forcible touching and rape in the third degree, must be prosecuted within 2-5 years from the time of the alleged act, or from the time the alleged victim turned 18.

Blaine is known for stunts like being buried underground for seven days without food or water.

He also stayed in a plexiglass case suspended 30 feet in the air for 40 days. In 2004, former model Natasha Prince accused Blaine of raping her in London. "If, in fact, there is any police investigation, my client will fully cooperate because he has nothing to hide".

The allegation was reported to police on November 17, 2016.

Scotland Yard investigated the claim, but Blaine was cleared shortly after.

Blaine is scheduled for a European tour that kicks off in June.
