Early in the game, Booker landed awkwardly after going up for a pass, rolling his ankle in ugly fashion (it goes to almost 90 degrees).

Booker was announced out for the game with a sprained left ankle, and given the where the Suns are and how few games remain in the season, it wouldn't be surprising if we didn't see him again this season to avoid him further damaging that ankle.

With the National Basketball Association regular season coming to an end, the Phoenix Suns can finally put this disappointing campaign behind themselves.

Booker appeared to be in a lot of pain following the injury, but X-rays came back negative.

He joins a group of key Suns players who are out. Point guard Tyler Johnson has been shut down after undergoing knee surgery Wednesday and forward T.J. Warren has missed the last 30 to right ankle soreness. He recently had back-to-back 50-plus-point games.

Kevin Pillar Gets Emotional While Discussing Trade From Blue Jays to Giants
The Oral History of the Kevin Pillar Trade will never be written, dang it, but we can speculate as to how it went down. He batted.260 with 156 doubles, 55 home runs and 231 runs batted in across 695 career games with the Blue Jays.

Booker landed awkwardly after receiving a high entry pass and had to be assisted off the floor.

Booker averaged 36.2 points the previous 11 games, scoring 25 or more points in each contest in that stretch.

The Suns play their final home game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday before traveling to Texas to take on the Houston Rockets on Sunday and the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday.

Phoenix has the worst record in the Western Conference at 18-61.
