Taylor Swift's huge comeback has already resulted in a major win for the artist, breaking an impressive YouTube record along the way. "And I'm not trying to be loud but 65.2 million views.?? and 6+5+2=".

Seemingly inspired by French cinema, the video opens with a dramatic scene in which Swift argues with Urie - in French, no less - then storms out of the room before she takes us on a whirlwind ride of dance sequences on the streets and rooftops of her candy-coloured version of Paris.

After the drop of her highly anticipated new single, ME!, Taylor quickly sent her fans and the entire world into meltdown with the bubblegum-pastel-pink-pop video to accompany it.

Swift said the kitten's handler, "Handed me this tiny cat, and he just starts purring and ... he looks at me like, 'You're my mom, and we're going to live together'".

"So. the new album title is actually revealed somewhere in the video AND so is the title of the second single", she wrote.

The Wildest Dreams singer revealed that the song is "about embracing your individuality" during a Good Morning America interview on Friday.

Featuring Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie and produced by New Zealand's Joel Little, the tune was met with widespread acclaim from dedicated Swifties, while the track's sing-song nature and simplistic lyrics have seen publications like Pitchfork dub it a tune "for literal children." "I just want it to be one that makes them feel better about themselves", she added. "This really happened? Like for real?" "So I will simply say: Thank you, Taylor Swift, for allowing me to be a part of your handsome story".

However, it seems that this derision has not detracted from the song's success, with 'ME!' managing to break another YouTube record for Taylor Swift. It's the first single from her upcoming seventh album.

Currently, Swift has no scheduled tour dates.
