Jewellery boxes ransacked, drawers opened, laptops and cash gone.

A MA man said he arrived at his family's home to find someone had broken in and given the residence a deep cleaning without stealing anything.

But, unusually, nothing had been taken. In a Facebook post, he told friends and family that it was also possible that he had forgotten to lock his back door and turn on his house alarm.

Nate described what happened: " Today, while I was at work, a stranger entered my house.

Roman said his son's room, which had been a mess that morning, was spotless - complete with a "very neatly folded rose" folded origami-style on his toilet paper.

DOJ Charges Julian Assange with Publishing Classified Information
In this May 1, 2019, file photo, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange puts his fist up as he is taken from court in London. The new indictment - which charges him for his publishing activity - raises fundamental First Amendment questions.

"No notes, no creepy arrangements or anything".

"No idea what to think about this", he said.

While the perpetrator has not yet been identified, Roman assumed it may have been done by a cleaning service that went to the wrong house.

"I kept the toilet paper roses as souvenirs".

"The one thing they didn't do was clean the kitchen, which was a little disappointing", Roman said.

"It was really the roses that really got me thinking that some professional cleaner had accidentally stumbled into my house", Roman said.

Marlborough Police said they are taking the investigation seriously, but they now have no leads or suspects.
