Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Varanasi after a landslide victory in the recent Lok Sabha elections 2019.

From here, PM Modi will make way to Trend Facility Centre where he will interact with party workers and then address the people of the city, before returning to Delhi. Supporters were seen raising slogans in praise of the Prime Minister while holding placards with his pictures.

Earlier today Modi visited Ahmedabad where he paid tributes at the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel near the airport.

PM Modi, who will take oath on Thursday, will visit Varanasi to express his gratitude to voters who put their trust in him yet again.

Both Amit Shah and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in their speeches here, focused on the "gruelling" campaigning that PM Modi undertook in the run up to the general elections.
