Bristol City sign Chelsea defender Jay Dasilva

The signing of Kalas means that the Robins have nearly got the same team back from last season, all minus Lloyd Kelly who was sold to Bournemouth for £13 million and Kasey Palmer, another Chelsea loanee who Bristol City want to sign permanently.

Jay Dasilva joined Bristol City permanently this week having caught the eye while on loan from Chelsea.

"As soon as I heard about the interest it was a move I was very interested in and I'm pleased to be here", he told the club website.

"Jay proved to be such a great fit for us", Johnson said.

He is expected to become the Robins' highest-paid player and smash the club's transfer record.

Chelsea's longest-serving player Tomas Kalas is set to leave the club as he closes in on a permanent move to Bristol City.

Bear keeps man at lair for 1 month
At the same time, Independent researchers unveiled that the video clip may have come from Kazakhstan, Russia's neighbour. A man was rescued from a bear den after he spent an entire month in the animal's lair in Russia's remote Tuva region.

The fee in which Chelsea sold him to Bristol City is unknown, but it is rumoured to be between £2M-£6M.

But the Blues have allowed the 21-year-old to depart for good, signing a four-year deal.

Kalas is best known with Chelsea fans for making his Premier League debut at Anfield in April 2014 against Liverpool, who were on an 11-game winning streak.

Brother Cole, who has played for the Welsh U20s team, left Chelsea back in August 2018, signing for Brentford's B side on a free transfer.

It is unknown whether or not Chelsea included a buy-back clause in the deal they made with Bristol City - something which will be found out in due course.
