Trials of Mana also allowed a second player to join in, and released a massive branching class system, allowing players to not only choose from multiple characters to play as, but to play those characters in different ways each time.

Additionally Trials of Mana is getting a full remake, due out in early 2020.

Collection of Mana, released in Japan as Seiken Densetsu Collection, is now available for Switch via the Nintendo eShop in North America and Europe for $39.99, publisher Square Enix announced. Collectors of physical media can pick up the game from their retailer of choice for the exact same price, though keep in mind it's a pre-order not slated for release until August 27th. Trials of Mana tells the story of six heroes in their battle to defeat monsters of destruction trying to take over the world whilst the power of Mana has been weakened. While the likes of Secret of Mana are fondly remembered, Seiken Densetsu 3 never made it to localization.

The Collection of Mana - featuring Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana, and a translated SNES version of Trials of Mana - hit Switch today, and there's no indication of further releases on other platforms.
