It doesn't mean that we will change the whole game, we are trying to make something fresh, new and unique.

FFVII Remake is announced for the PS4 and that hasn't changed with the new reveal, but it is possible that the game is now multiplatform if we go by the listing of some retailers.

While the latest trailer didn't reveal many new details, Square Enix did confirm the FF7 remake will be released in multiple installments and that more information will be shared in June, presumably at the publisher's E3 conference on June 10 at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET.
