While there's still uncertainty on the future of Huawei given the USA ban, Huawei has today announced three new phones: the Nova 5 series. Recently, the vanilla model of the Nova 5 surfaced on AnTuTu. The 810 is one of the Kirin series made by Huawei chip unit HiSilicon, based on designs by United Kingdom -based chip designer Arm Ltd.

The octa-core chipset offers two high-performance ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.27GHz, accompanied by six power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.88GHz. It is also paired with an ARM Mali-G52 MP6 that should produce some pretty decent performance.

Finally, the wait is over as the Chinese tech giant Huawei took the stage in China to unveil new Nova 5 lineup phones. The 6GB RAM version will cost RMB 2,999 while the bigger 8GB model will retail at RMB 3,399 (around Rs 34,300). There is no word as to whether the company will launch the new tablets in other regions or not. The Huawei Nova 5 comes in multiple colour variants as well - Bright Black, Midsummer Purple and Forest Green.

Into extra time they went, and Lyon star Henry had the last word to spark scenes of joy in the crowd of nearly 24,000. Goals from Steph Houghton, Ellen White and Alex Greenwood earned England the win at the Stade du Hainaut.

The Nova 5i also comes with a less powerful Kirin 710 processor. The Nova 5 Pro and Nova 5i are now up for pre-orders in China with a release from June 28th. Pre-sales have launched, with shipping set for 28 June. Huawei is yet to announce any pricing or availability of the handsets outside of China. We'll have to wait to get the Huawei Nova 5 in for testing before we can tell you which processor is truly faster and better for gaming. They both sport a 6.39-inch Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) OLED display panel with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Notably, the SoC is now more efficient with the 7-nm process, same as the flagship Kirin 980 used on the Huawei P30 Pro. They also have a quad camera setup, with 48MP, 16MP and two 2MP sensors. While on the front, both the Huawei Nova 5 and the Huawei Nova 5 Pro comes with a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture and AI HDR+ support.

Switching over to the regular Nova 5, it's mostly the same compared to the Nova 5 Pro. Coming in 8.4- and 10.8-inch sizes, the devices are the latest entries in Huawei's line of Android tablets. The slates also have USB Type-C ports, 3.5mm audio jacks, and microSD card slots.

The rear camera package is also worth keeping an eye on, as Huawei's packing a total of four sensors. It has a traditional fingerprint scanner on the rear side.
