Beloved icon Lady Gaga surprised crowds with an impassioned speech at Pride Live's Stonewall Day Concert, a special event commemorating 50 years since the Stonewall Riots.

Activists from around the world are rallying in the city's Greenwich Village to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the birth of the LGBTQ movement.

"I really, really hope you celebrate every inch of who you are today".

"This community has fought and continued to fight a war of acceptance, a war of tolerance - and the most relentless bravery", she said, according to NBC 4 NY.

It is alleged that the suspect then produced a handgun, struck the girl with it and proceeded to sexually assault her. He was seen wearing a black hoodie, long black shorts, black shoes and a blue and red baseball cap.

"I look at the older generation and how you have fought to create a safe, more tolerant space for our youth", said Gaga, clad in thigh-high glittering rainbow platform boots, denim booty shorts with rainbow fringe and a rainbow jacket over a black bandeau bra. She gave importance to the occasion as the Shallow singer said that it is the LGBTQ community's celebration and that she will never degrade the fight and the adversity that they have endured so that their voice will be heard.

According to Lady Gaga, the LGBTQ community is the true definition of courage and while she said that, the A Star Is Born actress nearly wiped a tear in her eyes and continued with her speech. And because it is her hometown, her fans just love her homecoming as they know how the Bad Romance singer embrace them with unwavering love and support of their individuality and equality. "I feel so honored and privileged to even be asked to be here". It makes me cry, I am so emotional today. "And I will follow you", she addressed the crowd.

"While we have made tremendous progress, we find ourselves also at a time where attacks on the trans community are on an increasing rise each day". You don't back down. "And you know I would take a bullet for you any day of the week". I surrender to all hatred because, you know what, I will kill it with kindness.

She went on to show her dedication to the cause by stating, "True love is when you would take a bullet for someone".
