Salma Hayek Might Join Angelina Jolie Richard Madden in Marvel’s The Eternals Report

Actress Salma Hayek has entered negotiations to star opposite Richard Madden and Kumail Nanjiani in the Marvel Studios superhero adventure The Eternals. However, the report didn't specify which character she would play.

Hayek Pinault's recent credits include "How To Be a Latin Lover", "The Hitman's Bodyguard" and "Beatriz at Dinner", which earned her an Indie Spirit Award nomination.

Hayek recently starred in Drunk Parents, alongside Alec Baldwin and Joe Manganiello, which debuted in April.

Details about Hayek's character are being kept under wraps.

Cars Stuck on Muddy Road Thanks to Disastrous Google Maps Detour
Drivers travelling to Denver Airport end up in a sticky situation, after a Google Maps fail took them into a muddy field. Since October, Google Maps has been analyzing reports from Google Maps users during the 6 10 a.m. commute time.

Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) is said to be playing Ikaris. Given it stemmed from the mind of Jack Kirby that probably goes without saying, and it's also worth reiterating that Marvel had no trouble at all in bringing the likes of the Guardians of the Galaxy to the big screen, a property even the publisher's more regular readers weren't particularly familiar with. That series introduced a group of immortals called the Eternals and their rivals, the Deviants. One is Elysius, an artificially created being connected to the Titan's supercomputer, and the other is Thena, a tough and smart warrior with the ability to manipulate cosmic energy to augment her life force. It's unclear if the MCU will maintain that connection.

Who do you think Salma Hayek should play in The Eternals? No release date has yet been set for The Eternals yet, but after Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters, we expect Marvel Studios to make an announcement about the future of its film line-up.

Marvel's Eternals might be the most obscure property Disney have adapted since 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy, but Chloe Zhao's film has had no trouble at all in attracting big-name talent. Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
