With over 4.9 million views the clip was flooded with users trying to guess what the creature could

Vivian Gomez recently shared a video of the unusual occurrence on Facebook, which showed the "Dobby-like creature" walking amusing outside her residence, The Daily Dot reported.

She added that her other two security cameras "didn't pick it up for some reason".

Since being shared online, the video has collected over 9 million views on Facebook and a ton of comments.

There have been a lot of odd things captured by security cameras. "Am trying to figure it out", she said. Wobbling and flapping its arms, the creature can be seen walking quickly from the home before disappearing into the darkness.

"Looks like Dobi from Harry Potter!". This has to be a gag video!

Media Study Shows How Much Google Is Making From News
Many publishers have experimented with adding video content to drive ad revenue , but that has been an inconsistent bet, at best. Book publishers tried mass negotiation with Apple some years ago, only to be met with a price-fixing lawsuit from the U.S.

Another Twitter user noticed the freakish video on Facebook and made a decision to share it on Twitter to help Gomez crack the "magical" mystery. "Are people really falling for this?" added Crystal Cuckow. Photo:Facebook/ Vivian Gomez. While most commented about the resemblance of the creature to Dobby, a few raised suspicions about the video being a hoax. On Friday, Twitter user @jadynbee_ posted the video asking for her followers to tell her what they "think this is".

"There could be genuine alien life roaming our planet and ppl be making dobby memes I WANT ANSWERS", one Twitter user wrote.

While some are convinced the creature has been photoshopped in, others are genuinely freaked out by the discovery.

It didn't take long before the video went viral and everyone had something to say about Dobby being caught walking around and apparating away on Muggle footage.

While this video would probably make a good viral marketing campaign for the game, VGomez doesn't appear to be involved in any way with that effort. "I refer, of course, to Dobby the house elf", she wrote.
