For All Mankind is an Apple TV original which centers on the galactic race between the United States and Russian Federation.

At long last, the first trailer for an original Apple TV+ series has arrived.

We don't have a definitive date yet for the upcoming Apple TV+ streaming service but we know at least a part of it will be out of this world.

"For All Mankind" is the brainchild of Ronald D. Moore, best known for his work on "Star Trek: The Next Generation", and other "Star Trek" shows, as well as for showrunning the 2004 "Battlestar Galactica" reboot.

Magnificent seven for Derby genius O'Brien
This races are so competitive and so tough that, until they pass the line - as we saw yesterday, you are never sure. In the search for Derby glory, Aidan O'Brien trains seven of the Derby's 13 runners.

Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi, For All Mankind takes place in an alternate reality where the Soviet Union beat the US to be the first to put a man on the moon, setting off a very different kind of space race.

The series also stars Michael Dorman, Sarah Jones, Shantel VanSanten, Wrenn Schmidt and Jodi Balfour, and is directed by Seth Gordon. The official description defines the show as "an aspirational world where NASA astronauts, engineers, and their families find themselves in the center of extraordinary events seen through the prism of an alternate history timeline - a world in which the USSR beats the U.S.to the moon". Kinnaman plays Edward Baldwin, one of the top NASA astronauts. Fargo's Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi will serve as co-executive producers.

It's coming to Apple TV Plus, the iPhone maker's forthcoming premium TV subscription video service.
