"I am back on board as a director of "Laxmmi Bomb". He thanked the film's lead actor and co-producer, Akshay Kumar, for sorting out his grievances. Another thank you to my producer Shabinaa Khan for the same. Thanks to both for giving me respect. I am really happy to be a part of the film again with Akshay sir. Lawrence left the remake of Kanchana (2011) after he claimed that he wasn't consulted on the first-look poster. "I feel very disrespected and disappointed. This shouldn't happen to any director".

He even asked the makers to find a replacement for him and said that he will hand over the script to Akshay. It is the story of a cowardly man, who gets possessed by the ghost of a transgender.

Kanchana is the second entry in the popular franchise that began in 2007 with Muni. The Kannada remake was directed by Ramanarayanan. Meanwhile, Lawrence's latest outing Kanchana 3 of the Muni series pulled in almost Rs 30 crores from the opening weekend in Tamil Nadu.

In this world, more than money and fame, self-respect is the most important attribute to a person's character.
