The Maryland medical examiner has finally determined what caused the tragic premature death of the Braxton sisters' niece, Lauren Braxton, and the results were not what people expected.

Officials said that Lauren, whose dad was Toni's brother Michael Conrad Braxton Jr., was unconscious on the floor of the kitchen of her Maryland home after she was seen coherent 10 minutes before by a witness, who called emergency responders to the scene, TMZ reported in April.

On Monday, April 29, at 12:44 p.m., the 24 year old was officially pronounced dead.

CDC panel recommends HPV vaccine for men up to age 26
The vaccine is approved for people up to age 45, but the same panel declined a proposal to recommend it for people older than 26. Countries with multi-cohort vaccination and high HPV vaccine coverage saw greater and faster impacts, along with herd effects.

Aside from Toni, Lauren is also survived by her aunts Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar.

It took several days for the family to come to grips with the loss. News that Lauren's cause of death was not from any heart issues, but rather, the cause of death for her was a heroin overdose and fentanyl intoxication.
