Chelsea are willing to recall Alvaro Morata from his Atletico Madrid loan spell this summer according to reports.

The Blues are now operating under a two-window transfer ban, something which could leave them somewhat light up front for the upcoming Premier League campaign.

The Blues are discussing a deal to offload their star with the La Liga runners-up after loaning their failed £58 million ($74m) signing in January as he pushed to leave the club.

With Chelsea banned from signing new players, and having already lost Eden Hazard, Morata may get another chance to make an impact at Stamford Bridge.

From there on, as every team has said repeatedly, it's a matter of having two good days and the World Cup could be yours. Morgan said: "The way Jason plays - there are two sides to it". "As regards to conditions, they are what they are".

Morata scored six goals in 17 appearances for Atletico last season and will want clarity on his future as quickly as possible as he wants to stay at the Wanda Metropolitano.

The Spaniard has previously stated his desire to remain in Spain with Atleti, after struggling to settle in London following his move to Chelsea in 2017.

Morata's current contract at Chelsea has three years left to run.
