YouTube TV Gifting Some Existing Subscribers 3 Free Months of Showtime

They say that nothing in life is free, but Google would beg to differ, as select YouTube TV subscribers are now being offered a free subscription to Showtime from now through September 5th. This means YouTube TV is only rewarding this offer to some selected customers mainly who have been there on subscription for a long time.

YouTube TV apparently won't automatically bill customers for the Showtime subscription once the deal has ended.

The good news is that you don't even need to do not forget to cancel, as it continues, "And, no, we won't automatically bill you when the offer ends". Once you opened it, you'll be prompted to "Activate Offer" for a long term trail at a cost of $0 United States dollars.

It's not entirely clear who getting access to this free summer of Showtime, as YouTube TV simply refers to "longtime friends" in the offer. If you didn't get the free Showtime you can at least get Showtime at a discount. "You can add it back if you love it, but that's totally up to you", reads the offer message. Those extra $10 got you nine new channels including Discovery Channel, HGTV, Food Network, TLC, Investigation Discovery, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, and MotorTrend.
