Report Blue Jackets forward Sonny Milano arrested charged with assault in New York City

The two players - who play for the Colorado Avalanche and Columbus Blue Jackets, respectively - were taken into custody early Sunday morning in NYC and booked for assault.

A 28-year-old man said he was injured when the dispute turned into a physical altercation, Nasser said.

Milano, 23, and Greer, 22, were issued desk appearance tickets ordering them to return to court September 4, Nasser said.

Milano's father refuted the report that the brawl was over money, claiming that the fight happened because the victim "was getting rowdy in their apartment" and wouldn't leave.

The trio was allegedly arguing over a bill that had been paid an hour earlier at the celeb-frequented Chelsea nightclub 1 Oak, the sources said.

Trump's White House was "uniquely dysfunctional" and given to "knife fights", Darroch said, according to the newspaper. She added, "We pay them to be candid".

Milano was a first-round draft pick of the Blue Jackets in 2014. Angered, the duo reportedly fought the man who promised them a lower tab and left him with injuries to his neck, bicep, jaw and ribs.

The Avalanche left wing selected Greer, 22, in the second round of the 2015 draft.

Milano, of Long Island, N.Y., and Greer, of Joliette, Quebec, played in a limited number of games for their respective teams last season.

The Blue Jackets released a statement about Milano, saying they're aware of the situation and will be reviewing the facts without further comment. He played 15 games for the Avs last season, recording a goal and an assist.
